Physical Therapy
The physical therapy department at Trump Pavilion is dedicated to providing residents with individualized treatments to assist them in regaining previous levels of functioning.

Special equipment and therapeutic techniques are utilized to improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve balance and maximize ambulation skills.

For our professional staff of NYS Licensed Physical Therapists, their goal is to return our residents to the community as quickly as medically possible.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy's major focus is to restore, reinforce and enhance an individual's performance of daily activities such as dressing, homemaking and hygiene, in order to maximize functional independence.

Our highly skilled NYS Licensed Occupational therapists help the resident return to activities essential to productive living and mastery of their environment.

The therapeutic process includes perceptual and motor exercises, sensory-motor and neuromuscular enhancement activities.

Speech-Language Pathology
Individual treatment programs are developed to restore and maximize communication and swallowing function.

Residents with communication and/or swallowing disorders are evaluated and treated by New York State licensed, ASHA certified speech-language pathologists.

Experience, caring clinicians work one-on-one with residents to improve their speech, voice, cognitive, language, and/or swallowing ability.

A wide variety of impairments can be treated such as cerebral vascular accident (stroke), traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's Disease, laryngectomy, tracheostomy, multiple sclerosis and others.

Residents with hearing impairments are evaluated by an audiologist.
